If you subscribe to our lottery your account details will be retained for the purpose of collecting subscription fees only.

Any information gathered by our Collectors who visit your home for collection purposes and collectors based at various retail locations.

Names, addresses, dates of birth and contact numbers will all be collected for the purposes of identifying you, informing you if you have won a lottery prize and to contact you where necessary about your lottery subscription.

We will be responsible for storing your data. Our computer systems and some of our other systems, such as mailing services, are supplied by third parties who may need to use your details to enable them to provide their services to us.Transaction receipts will be sent to a separate Computer Bureau who will input data onto our computer system for the purposes of processing this data and producing correspondence to you.

The data that we collect from you will be stored in the United Kingdom. However, there is a possibility that in the future it may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”). This will be if any of our suppliers have any of their staff or systems outside the EEA. By submitting your personal data, you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.

Unfortunately, the transmission of information via the internet or telephone is not completely secure. Although we will take reasonable steps to protect your personal data, we cannot guarantee the security of your data transmitted to our website or via email; any transmission is at your own risk.

Once we have received your information TLC Lottery will take reasonable steps to ensure that your data is secure and used in accordance with this policy by all of our service providers.

The Act gives you the right to access information held about you. Your right of access can be exercised in accordance with the Act.

Any changes we may make to our privacy policy in the future will be posted on this page and, where appropriate, notified to you by e-mail or by post.

Whilst we recognise you have the right to be forgotten once your subscription has been cancelled – we are obliged by law to keep your name, address and financial details on our database for a period of 12 months, after which time they are moved to an Archive file kept securely by our Computer Bureau StarVale Management. They are retained in Archive for a further 6 years for Financial and Audit purposes after which time your details are completely deleted.

Any player who has not participated in the Lottery draw (non paid) for a consecutive period of 13 weeks will be automatically cancelled and the above rules will apply.
